Services Offered

  • Help you with questions from regulators, clients, and architects
  • Develop cost comparisons with traditional mitigation systems
  • Site specific design, including construction drawings and technical specifications for both structural and Vapor Ventilation design
  • Provide Engineering oversight, observation, quality control testing, or performance testing of the installed Cupolex system
  • Provide Vapor intrusion site investigations, including subsurface investigations, indoor air testing and evaluations of the potential for Vapor Intrusion
  • Site visits for any reason can also be available, including meetings with customers, regulators, contractors, or other parties
  • Certified Installers

Cupolex Benefits & Advantages

  • Pre-emptive mitigation is an option when vapor intrusion threatens to derail a property transaction.
  • Avoiding costly, time consuming vapor intrusion investigations with uncertain results,
  • Pre-emptive mitigation can save the deal and ensure that any VI problems will be addressed, an important liability issue for consultants.
  • Ideal mitigation system for new and remodeled buildings,
  • Adding no cost to building construction yet out-performing traditional, old-fashioned, more expensive systems.
  • Cupolex is also a “green” building product, and can lower future electrical costs, eliminate the need for fans, and contribute to LEED points on sustainable building projects.
  • Cupolex is the ideal mitigation system for new and remodeled buildings
  • On most sites adding no cost to building construction out-performs traditional, old-fashioned, more expensive systems like piping, gravel and barrier systems
  • Can save up to $7 per square feet of building compared to conventional mitigation systems
  • A “green” building product an can lower future electrical costs, eliminate the need for fans, and contribute to LEED points on sustainable building projects
  • Cupolex effective preemptive system avoiding costly, time consuming vapor intrusion investigations with uncertain results
  • Aerated Floors are more effective and more reliable than traditional radon systems and are the modern system that use open space rather than soil to vent the slab, resulting in highly efficient transmission of vacuum and air flow
  • Regulators can be sure that vacuum is present everywhere below the building and that concentration below the slab will be far lower than with traditional systems
  • Vacuum can be almost 100% of the static vacuum at the riser point across the entire aerated floor, with vacuum levels between suction points that are over an order of magnitude higher than traditional systems can accomplish
  • Cracks have much less effect on aerated floors than traditional slab-on-grade systems liners
