Cupolex Stormwater Tanks


CUPOLEX® is a forming system for providing an easy, efficient and fast solution for constructing cast in place underground concrete stormwater storage tanks. CUPOLEX® concrete tanks can be designed at various depths either as shallow or deep tanks. The CUPOLEX® Dome Forming System with depths from 260mm (10 inches) to 700mm (28 inches) in depth can be used for constructing shallow thanks on sites with a high groundwater elevation.

The CUPOLEX® elements quickly interlock and connect to each other composing a bearing structure ready for the placement of concrete, creating the most structurally sound underground stormwater tank on the market. This highly efficient method to manage storm water is supported by the matrix of domes and arches formed by the CUPOLEX® elements, allowing for easy inspection/cleaning.

The CUPOLEX® storm tank system can be designed to support any high load-bearing requirements, unlike any pipe, plastic vault, crate system, or time consuming, costly precast vault system on the market. This structurally advanced, cost effective stormwater management system was created to reduce the overall footprint, accommodate any site restraints, and lower overall costs. Please refer to the Cupolex Technical Data Sheet for details of the physical properties of the product range. The appropriate height of Cupolex should be selected based upon the required equivalent void for the required water volume and the concrete thickness above the domes is based on the maximum load capacity that the slab is required to support. This information is provided in the table below:
